The meeting of the Blue Nile and White Nile

I've always wanted to blog about this but never got a decent picture to provide. So far this is the clearest picture I found, which I received via e-mail recently.

Now I bet that most of you did not know about this. In Khartoum, the Blue Nile and White Nile meet at a certain point and you can obviously separate the Blue Nile from the White Nile from their meeting point. It's clear above, I guess.

The water of the Blue Nile and White Nile do not mix even after they meet. I have nothing more to say than Sub7an Allah. The view is really magnificent. This picture doesn't do the view any justice... You gotta visit Khartoum and see it yourself!
