Interviewed!

This morning I went to my interview at the American Embassy in Muscat for my student visa application. I got admitted to a university in Texas al-hamdulillah to a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering program. So last week when I received the papers they sent me via airmail to go to the embassy, I immediately scheduled for the soonest appointment which was today, November the 5th. I gathered my documents & everything then went to the interview. It went very well al-hamdullah and everything was smooth. The interviewer was extremely friendly and I was comfortable with him. I won't go through much details about the interview, but I would just say that it went well al-hamdulillah! Tomorrow my papers will be sent to Washington DC and in a couple of days they will get back to me.

I'm now kind of relieved. Nearly everything is done. Just waiting for the visa to be issued. Having this interview was the last thing I am supposed to do regarding my higher education in the United States. Wish me good luck!
