My iPhone is here !

Last week I purchased an unlocked iPhone from eBay and today I finally received it and I'm lovin' it!

I thought of reviewing it after using it for a few days, but then I decided not to because almost everyone knows what's good and what's bad in the iPhone. I just got this one 'cause I found a great deal and said if I like it, I will just keep it and if I don't, I will then sell it. I'm sure if I decided to sell it it would get me much more than what I paid for it, since now the old iPhone is not available anywhere except in grey market, and that nobody would be able to get an iPhone 3G next month without a contract.

Anyhows, I've been playing with it for a couple of hours now and so far I'm lovin' it. The virtual QWERTY keypad turned out to be not that bad really... True that it takes me awhile to type something with it, but after a couple of days I will get used to it.

Oh man I feel bad, iPhone 3G is at the corner, though I am not impressed. But, yeah you will need a contract.

I am thinking of the HTC Diamond. But, the phone dealer is taking forever to get it released here!

night face: I'm still not sure if I'm ready to sign a 2-years contract with AT&T for the iPhone 3G or not, especially after the $10 increase they put for the data plan. Till next month or the month after if I see that I want an iPhone 3G and I'm ready to sign a contract with AT&T, I will just sell this one and get an iPhone 3G.

Ironically, I ordered this iPhone just a day or two after the iPhone 3G announcement. I got it because it was an opportunity, and a deal that I shouldn't have missed. So I immediately got it.

As I said, any minute I don't feel comfortable with it, I would just sell it and it would get me more than what I paid on it, I'm sure.

Congratulations man, even though I really don't understand why you would buy it when you know the 3G iphone is coming out soon.

hehe .. you guys really don't know the offer I got, that's why you're all wondering why I got this iPhone when I know that the iPhone 3G is just around the corner. :P

Plus, as I've been saying before, I'm still not ready to sign a 2-years contract with AT&T. So for now, I don't think that I will get an iPhone 3G. Maybe later I will, but still not sure.

missy: wait for it to be released in Qatar before the end of this year. Maybe vodafone Qatar would decide to sell it without contracts, but for a higher price of course...

I like the design and concept of the iphone... but i have many complains about it... like it doesnt make sense that you cant copy/paste text or even photos... I turned off the auto-correction feature which sucks..

Another big turn-off of the iphone is the incapacity to run several appz at the same time.. you can't load a msn clone appz while you go surf on the buggy safari.. it's one application at a time :( :( I think that ANY Os would work just as fast as the iphone if it'd allow just one appz at once... So it doesnt make impressed of "osx" at all.. when you compare with windows devices where you can chat on msn while playing with the gps and surf the web and so on...

You can't use your iphone's connection on your laptop (which you can do from most Windows device) ..

I'm also not impressed by the battery.. used to be better on the v2.. even after turning off blue, wifi, 3g and brightness... it justs doesnt last long
